ASSOCIATED FUSED MULLITE The start of yet another mullite fusion in an electric arc furnace at Associated. After cooling , crushing and grading carried out under strict quality control at every stage the resultant grain is formed of massive crystals. Their size gives Associated Fused Mullite its properties of high thermal stability , low reversible thermal expansion , and resistance to slag attack at high temperatures.
